Cransley Robins

Cransley Robins

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Cransley Hospice Trust in Kettering launched the “Robins appear when loved ones are near” fundraising campaign. This initiative featured 500 handcrafted clay robins, each stamped with a Cransley Hospice heart and individually numbered, created by local artisan potter Louise Crookenden-Johnson. The robins were displayed in an art installation at Chester House Estate in June 2023 to honour loved ones and commemorate the hospice’s milestone. All 500 robins were purchased by supporters, with proceeds benefiting the hospice’s services.

We had the privilege of documenting this project by filming an interview with Louise and capturing the intricate process of her crafting these delightful robins, resulting in a cinematic and engaging video that showcases the artistry and heartfelt purpose behind the campaign.
